Is Oops just another dating app?
No. Oops does not ask you to judge a stack of photos. You meet people through a live vibe feed of voice, humour, confessions, and energy. Photos are there, but they do not have to carry the whole conversation.
What replaces swiping?
You listen, play, and feel it out. The feed lets you discover real people through what they share. When someone hits differently, tap Oops, I Feel It. If it is mutual, it is a match.
What are the Wheel, Confession Booth, and Crush Booth?
They are three layers for getting to know someone without performing. The Wheel is playful and spontaneous. The Confession Booth is depth and honesty. The Crush Booth is chemistry and attraction. Together, they build a profile that feels like a person, not a dating résumé.
Do I have to be good at voice notes?
Not at all. Oops is not a podcast audition. A few seconds, an honest reaction, or a slightly awkward answer can tell you more than the perfectly written ‘hey.’
Is there texting on Oops?
No. Oops is voice-first on purpose. Matches begin with the Oops 1st Move, and the conversation stays centred on voice. The point is to feel the energy early, before spending weeks typing with someone who is not your person.
How does Oops, I Feel It work?
It is your signal of interest. Tap it when someone’s voice, energy, or answer lands differently. If they feel it too, you match and see who chose you. No guessing games.
Where is Oops available right now?
Beta access is currently open in Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Ontario. We add testers gradually. Every other province and territory can still join the waitlist. Quebec is waiting for the French app experience.
Why is Oops still in beta?
Because we would rather build something real than rush out another unfinished copy. Tester feedback shapes each sprint as we improve the experience. Tell us the good, the weird, and the not-ready-yet.
